Globelink is the most recognized name in foreign language studies in Southern Colorado. Our Colorado Springs Spanish classes are taught by native speaking instructors with a passion for teaching. In our classes you won’t just learn to speak Spanish, you will make friends, have fun and learn about the Spanish culture of different countries.
To ensure the success of our students we keep our Spanish class sizes small. This allows for a great amount of interaction between the students and the instructor. We offer a variety of Spanish classes from beginner to advanced with each focusing on the specific needs of our clients. Whether you want to become fluent in Spanish for work, or you just need to know enough Spanish to take a vacation to a Spanish speaking country, we have a class for you.

Why learn to speak Spanish?
When you learn to speak Spanish, you open yourself up to a world of new opportunities. With close to 400 million native speakers worldwide, Spanish is the second most commonly spoken language after Mandarin Chinese, and the second-most spoken language in the United States after English.
It is the official language in 21 countries, spanning South, Central and North America, as well as Africa and Europe. It is spoken in Spain, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Equatorial Guinea, the Philippines, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, Colombia, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Uruguay.

Classes Offered
Intro to Spanish I
Our introductory Spanish class is designed for complete beginners, or speakers with very limited knowledge and exposure to the language. It aims to provide basic Spanish language skills for everyday life and includes cultural insights.
- Total: 16 hours – 8 sessions of 2 hours each, 2 x a week for 4 weeks.

Intro to Spanish II
This is a continuation of Intro Spanish 1. It is designed to improve your basic Spanish language skills . For newcomers, you must be familiar with fundamentals such as reading and pronouncing words, greetings, days, weeks, months and numbers and produce short sentences in the present tense.
- Total: 16 hours – 8 sessions of 2 hours each, 2 x a week for 4 weeks.

Intro to Spanish III
The Intro to Spanish 3 class takes you one step further in the knowledge that you have already gained from Intro to Spanish 1 and 2. It will take you into different Spanish verb tenses that will give you the ability to talk in a wider way and cover several kinds of pronouns.
- Total: 16 hours – 8 sessions of 2 hours each, 2 x a week for 4 weeks.

Passport to Spain
Designed for the traveler to Spain. This fun course provides a practical guide to train travel, including high-speed trains, special train passes, ordering food, asking for directions. You will be able to ask questions and understand answers while enriching your vocabulary and knowledge about Spain. This course is taught by native Spaniards that will share valuable insights into the culture and traditions of this popular tourist destination. Festivals, sangria, siesta, flamenco are some of the traditions covered in this course.
- Total: 8 hours – 4 sessions of 2 hours each, 2x a week for 2 weeks.

Passport to Mexico
Designed for the traveler to Mexico. You will be able to ask questions and understand answers while enriching your vocabulary and knowledge about Mexico. This course is taught by native teachers that will share valuable insights into the culture and traditions of this popular tourist destination.
- Total: 8 hours – 4 sessions of 2 hours each, 2 x a week for 2 weeks.

Spanish Reloaded
Spanish Reloaded is an intermediate Spanish class intended to further develop the student’s knowledge of the Spanish language, while taking the student to the next level of conversation, writing and reading skills. This course provides a review and expansion of the essential skills of the Spanish language. Upon completion, students should be able to communicate about the past, present, and future.
- Total: 16 hours – 8 sessions of 2 hours each, 2 x a week for 4 weeks.
- For this class, a textbook is required at an additional cost.

Spanish for Medical Staff
This course offers applied Spanish for the workplace to facilitate basic communication with people whose native language is Spanish. Emphasis is on oral communication. Upon completion of this course, students should be able to communicate in Spanish at a functional level with native speakers and demonstrate cultural sensitivity. There will be a strong emphasis on the knowledge and understanding of the Hispanic culture.
- Total: 24 hrs – 12 sessions of 2 hours each, 3 x a week for 4 weeks
- Textbooks are not included

Spanish Conversation
Spanish Conversation group class, or as we call it “Spanish Lunch Hour”, is ideal for the intermediate-high and advanced learners for practicing communication in a friendly surrounding. This is a good way to refresh your knowledge, keep up your understanding of the language or simply practice with others in a fun environment. Just bring your lunch to class and enjoy it while improving your language skills.
Immersion
Spend your day in your favorite country without leaving town !
Practice your language skills during our immersion days. This course is designed to help intermediate and advanced students freshen up conversational skills through fun and exciting activities, board games, etc.
- One day – 4 hour session
